Entering your cutie in a baby photo competition can be a really easy way to earn some extra money, but only if you win. Here are three easy steps to getting really cute baby pictures.

#1. Take lots of pictures.

This is really easy these days with digital cameras, because you don’t have to pay for film and can print only the pictures that you like. The more pictures you take, the more likely you are to get a great result that people will go Ahhh over. Be sure to take pictures of your baby doing cute stuff, even if it is silly. It is often the silliest pictures that win. You can enter up to six photos per month, so get to it.

#2. Watch your background.

Before you enter your picture, be sure that it has a noncompeting background. After all it doesn’t matter how darn cute Ella is if she has some strange thing growing out of her head. Also keep an eye on the background when you are snapping your pictures and move your angle or your baby if the background is really busy.

#3. Use your photo editing software.

Now I am not talking about covergirl retouches here, but it is a good idea to use your photo editing software to crop the picture so that it really focuses on your baby and to get rid of red eye. After all this is your beautiful bundle of joy and you might as well showcase him in the best light possible.
